Farmhouse Bischofshofen
Located in the middle of the alpine landscape of the Salzburg Pongau with a view of the Hochkönig, the farm offers a beautiful place to live in addition to the usual uses in agriculture and forestry.
The residential building, built in the mid-70s, has now been reorganized in the course of an extended planning phase.
In addition to the two vacation apartments on the first floor, a spacious apartment for the family will be created on the upper floor and in the attic.
The central hub of this apartment is the kitchen planned in the center. This is a place where people meet to spend time together.
Around it, in addition to the living rooms, the zones of bedrooms are provided.
The opening of a gallery in the form of an additional and open living level in the attic, brings for the in both directions deep floor plan, the necessary height volume and an additional or natural light incidence.
With the design of the façade, a path was taken to once again correspond more to the ideal of a Pongau farmhouse.
This includes the small-scale window structure with window beams, the plaster facade on the first floor and the wooden facade on the upper floor and attic.
The circumferential balcony between the ground and upper floors also brings a clear structure to the building once again.
