A new start for the 2nd stage of life
In the midst of the Styrian mountains with a view of the Gesäuse National Park, the owner would like to realize her new home in the Salzkammergut style for herself and her visiting adult children and grandchildren.
The floor plan is organized accordingly: a large common living space but also the possibility of retreat to WZ2 in the attic and next to their bedroom and dressing room, 3 additional bedrooms that function like hotel rooms. Each with its own bathroom, balcony or terrace.
There was also a desire for a workshop, garage and cold storage rooms for hobby items and kites, which we organized together with a technical room in an outbuilding. Together with the main house, we made a kind of courtyard, with an arcade as an entrance.
The ground floor is to be built in solid construction and plastered, the upper floor and above in wood block construction. A wooden shingle roof, beautiful details and cutouts complete the ensemble in the Salzkammergut style.
