Residential house Salzburg

A WOODEN HOME – PLANNED FOR NOW AND LATER

The Andreas family home, located on the outskirts of the city center of Salzburg, is a single-family home with the possibility of being quickly expanded into a two-family home .

Built the house was made of wood.
The alternation between solid wood and timber frame construction was combined considering its advantages and disadvantages. Many visible surfaces inside as well as the building envelope outside – which is 100% wood – make a clear commitment to wood as a building material.

The classic living spaces were organized in a flowing floor plan (hardly any corridor space). This saves space and thus costs. Based on the requirements and the developed room book, there was no need for a basement.

On the first floor, in addition to the carport, there is an external storage room and the entire building services. On the level above, ebanfalls in a flowing floor plan, are the master bedroom with closet space and bathroom, as well as 2 children’s bedrooms and the provision for a children’s bathroom.

In addition to an open and versatile space, the top floor offers a beautiful view of the city center and Hohensalzburg Fortress.
Among other things, the Gaisberg as well as the Untersberg were set in scene and thus let the residents of the house feel the proximity to the Alps.
