In this project, the client set the task of conjuring up the Salzkammergut and thus the origins of the family business in the small space in the Getreidegasse. A great help in this was the beautiful existing vault.
As additional style elements, furniture was designed which meets the requirements of an ice cream parlor on the inside. Among other things, the floor in Shop was formed for this purpose from an existing, approximately 150-year-old solid wood floor from the farmhouse of the family business. Nevertheless, they wanted to put the store in the background and thus focus on the actual star – the EISL EIS.
