A huge showcase with suspended cars
This project was processed from 2013 – 2015 together with the company Stahlbau KLATT GMBH and executed in 2015. The task set by the Porsche Group was to build a 120m long showcase for cars, with the cars inside the structure suspended from the ceiling .
In order to achieve an optimal view from Vogelweiderstrasse, the requirement was to install only glass in the front facade. This was realized by pre-tensioned C-frames with a tension band. The scope of services of m3-ZT GmbH was the design of the steel structure.
